About Us

Save Our State WA is a non-profit faith-based organization that was founded in 2021 after a group of moms viewed the comprehensive Sex Ed curriculum being suggested for local school districts. The materials were wholly inappropriate for young people. We decided to organize and speak out at our local school board meeting.
Since it's inception, SOS has sought to support and stand with those fighting for moral issues. SOS has rallied for those who lost their jobs due to vax mandates, hosted local candidate forums, held public information meetings about local issues, collected state initiative signatures, spoke against giving puberty blockers to young people, supported those fighting to keep boys out of girls' bathrooms, - and most recently assisted in the battle to keep dangerous behavioral facilities out of the Colville City center. The fight is just beginning on many fronts. Washington State continues to erode parental rights and put children in danger. Now we have legislation in committee that threatens the restriction or removal of our constitutionally protected local sheriff. It's time to stand with conservative organizations and make our voices heard!
We are a membership association and are led by a board comprised of local Christian men and women.

Our Mission

Educate ourselves and others regarding our God-given individual liberties as protected under our U.S. and Washington State Constitutions.
Stand with other freedom loving citizens of Stevens and Ferry counties, including other like -minded organizations where possible, to accomplish our goals.
Expose individuals and organizations who attempt to violate these individual liberties, with the goal of restoring and maintaining liberty in our communities and solicit the help of our elected representatives to accomplish these goals.

That salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone, not through civil government or anything else. However, we also believe in the principle that “to whom much has been given, much is required.” (Luke 12:48) We have been given a constitutional Republic with foundational laws that honor God and protect individual liberties. Our intent is to protect and restore those laws and liberties.
In protecting our God-given individual liberty regarding personal medical decisions.
The Bible is the standard for all of life: we are not afraid to stand up for morality as set forth in the Bible. God created two genders, “male and female” (Genesis 1:27). He also instituted marriage as between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24)
In the sanctity of innocent human life from conception to end of life issues.
That parents have the right to know and choose what their child is exposed to and taught, no matter the age.
In the right to keep and bear arms, and all the other rights that are protected under our United States and Washington State constitutions.
In free monetary exchange unencumbered by government overreach.
